Annual plant. Seeds are sown in March-April into cold frames or in seed beds in May. Requires planting. Plants to be planted in beds at 20 x 30 cm spacing at the end of May. Sunny location. Plant height 30 to 90 cm. Blossom: June - October. Cultivated in flower beds and for cut flowers. Strong cutting off tips of inflorescences causes shrubbing and profuse blossom.
