Marjoram - seeds
A green plant used as a spice, very aromatic. It is sown in a cold frame in March; conditioned seedlings should be sown into the ground as 2 - 3 plants, at a spacing of 25 - 40 x 15 - 20 cm. Can be sown straight into the ground in the 2nd half of April. It requires a fertile, loose soil and a sunny location. The green parts are harvested twice by cutting at the end of June/beginning of July and in early autumn. 2 - 3 g of seeds are needed for 1 area.
