Annual plant. Sow into the ground in April in rows, every 40 cm, covering seeds with a 0.5 - 1 cm layer of soil. Does not require thinning. The green parts of savory are used as a spice for dishes; it also has dietary properties. It stimulates digestion and prevents bloating.
