Corn salad - seeds
Corn comes from South Europe and Asia Minor. It grows well in the Polish climate. A short period of vegetation allows for planting as an after-crop. In mild winters, it does not freeze and gives pre-spring crops. Leaf rosettes are eaten raw, collected during deficits of fresh vegetables and contain a lot of Group B and A vitamins.
