Sow directly into final growing place from the end of the first ten day-period of April (sensitive to cold weather) to mid-June, and even from the beginning of July for winter storage and preserves. Sow in rows every 30 - 50 cm, seeds at a distance of 6 - 10 cm. Seedlings must be thinned if they emerge too densely.
